Web Browsers

A browser is a program that you use to navigate (browse) the internet. The four most common browsers are Internet Explorer, included with every copy of Microsoft Windows; Netscape Navigator, and AOL included with an AOL account, and Opera. Our web sites are designed for Internet Explorer. Our web sites are compatible with other browsers, but for the best possible experience, use Internet Explorer 5.0 or newer.

Mac users should use the most recent version of Microsoft Internet Explorer when viewing our sites.

If you're an AOL member and are experiencing problems with the contents of our site, it's possible that you are using the older AOL browser. Older versions of the AOL software available online do not completely support JavaScript. To access all of our JavaScript driven content, you should install Netscape Navigator 4 or Internet Explorer 5, and then reconfigure them for AOL usage. For more information, use the AOL keywords 'Netscape' or 'Internet Explorer' in your AOL browser.
